A New Baby!!

The most talented Kristine Reynolds from over at Paper Pretties sent me this RAK card today!!
Isn't it the cutest!! I love Stamping Bella's stamps.
I honestly don't know how they do it over at Paper Pretties, but everytime I am feeling a little blue or down or - well - you know what I mean - "some days are diamonds and some days are stone" (my mom used to sing me that song when we were having bad days), those cards just turn up just at the right time!!

Thank you Kristine!! so much !!

We have a new baby girl in the neighbourhood!! Always wonderful to have a new life in our midst....and so Kristine's card has inspired me and this is the card I made for the parents and new little girl - pink of course...... I LOVE PINK....Well, naturally I would have done blue for a boy but ya know LOL!...I still LOVE PINK!

I used Papertrey Ink cardstock for the base of this card. It really is the best paper as far as sturdiness goes....

I have a bazillion 12 x 12 sheets of patterned paper.....so I sorted through them and found a little girly paper. I cut a 4 1/4" x 2" piece for the band and did some faux stitching on the top and bottom of the band of "girly" paper.

I stamped the Stamping Bella baby carriage in versamagic rose and punched it out with the giga scalloped Marvy punch. I paper pierced around the scallops, adhered it to some pink cardstock and glued it to the card.

"Blessed" is from Papertrey Ink Papertray stamp set which I love desperately!! LOL It has so many everyday saying that you would use on a card and the font is not too fancy nor too plain -- just very elegant and stated.

I promise the pinks all match in this card, it is rather late in the day and this photo does not show up the best colours after this crazy time change.
I'm not liking this time change! I was in bed at 7:30 pm last night--so tired! Tonight may not be much different....

Well supper is in the oven....smoked pork chops, baked potatoes and I guess a salad ---some sore of veggie still to be decided! Ron is out chisel plowing and I am supposed to call him when supper is ready--hmmm---I wonder if I have time to do another card...LOL!! *wink*

LUCKY ME!!
