Nugget Tins Galore!!

Marcie and I have been busy making things for our church's bazaar the end of November.

I chose to make the Nugget Tins filled with Hershey's Nuggets so I have 25 tins to fill and decorate!! Woo hoo!!

I could only keep my hands off of the chocolate!! A "pushing 50" woman is not that great to look at when her face is filled with zits!!

Occasionally I read about rubber stamps that you can buy at Micheals for only $1 .....so off I go to Michaels, and being in Canada you never know if you are going to get the same deals or not and so I wasn't sure if I would even find them.

Well, 7 stamps and 20 rolls of ribbon later, I decided I got off pretty darn great!!
The stamps were $1.50 and their rolls of ribbon were on sale for .59 cents!!

I mean HOLY COW! How great is that!
Thanks to Amy R. from Prairie Paper and Ink. I read her blog religiously (oh yeah) and she said sometimes she grabs up the cheap stamps at Michaels when she is there so I thought, give it a try and I was pleasantly surprised.

I stamped the Avery labels with The Holiday Treats set of stamps from Papertrey Ink and wrapped them around the foil wrapped Hersey Nuggets. Then you just place them in the tin and decorate!! So Easy!
Both the stamps that I used on these tags are from Michaels and they turned out pretty cute. I punched them out using my Marvy punches except for the background on the green one. It was just cut out on my paper trimmer and then the corners rounded with my corner rounder because I don't have that size of punch.

Both tags are punched with the paper piercer because right now that is such a neat way to add a little bit of oomph!!

The ribbon is all from Michaels also, so these tins didn't cost me very much.

The most expensive thing in these tins is the chocolate!!!..... and that is my own fault because I couldn't wait to go to the bulk food store and get them, I had to get them at the grocery store where they were a little extra!
Not sure what to charge for these tins....that is the only problem with these bazaars, you want to make money for the church but you don't want to overprice yourselves.
Oh well, if that is the great problem we have on the 24th then we are laughing!!
LUCKY ME!!
