Happy New Year...... Bella style.....!

Well, one of my resolutions this year is to TRY to keep up with the challenges on Splitcoast Stampers. I have half-started/half finished (however you want to look at it) cards all over my desk - plus other half-started/half-finished projects - but that is another story!

This Stamping Bella beauty is Winobella and is for a couple of the Stamping Bella challenges - The very first color challenge, being black and turquoise and the second sketch challenge, which I thought was a doozy!! but it came out pretty good!!

I paper pieced and then cuttlebugged her dress with the textured embossing folder, just for something different to do with the cuttlebug.

Copics were used to color her face, legs, hair and turquoise wine!! LOL! (LOVE to get my hands on that!!) and I stickled her headband, necklace and shoes with eucalyptus stickles.

I used Offray black with white polka dot ribbon for the band across the bottom and the "2008" Making Memories glitter sticker #'s were stuck onto a nesties circle.

I just doodled a little thingy under the "2008".

Added a couple of glitter brads and done!!

Another one down - just 6 more to go - YIKES - I can feel the resolution slip-sliding away......

LUCKY ME!!
