Wishing You Well

My mom and step-dad are leaving for Florida on Tuesday for two months......

WAAAAAAAA!!- no, really.

I will miss them. And I will envy them. Southwestern Ontario is NOT known for its warm winters, let me tell you.

We had them for brunch today to say our goodbyes. I always worry about their drive down there. I think it is about 1500 miles, 2-3 days depending if they stop or not. (sigh) I wish them well.

Today's challenge is the Featured Stamper challenge and you can find it here.

Today's Featured Stamper is Nancy Riley aka Stampinat6213 and her gallery is here.

The card I cased is here. I changed the color combination from pink to blue and I changed the sentiment. She had a Happy Birthday sentiment and mine is Wishing you Well.

I used the Beautiful Blooms stamp set from Papertrey Ink and stamped the flowers with Aegean Blue Chalk Ink from Versamagic. Then I went over them with the co-ordinating flower stamp in Brilliance graphite black ink.

I cut each one out and then added three little blue baubles to each flower. They are from Stamping Bella and I have a ton 'o baubles. You get SOOOO many in a package but they are too cute!!

The leaves are also from Papertrey Ink Beautiful Blooms stamp set. I just stamped them in Versamagic chalk ink - tea leaves and cut them out individually. I popped them up with dimensionals on the white cardstock that was attached to green cardstock.

The black and white designer paper is from DCWV Black and White Print Paper Stack.

I stamped on the sentiment which is from the Paper Tray stamp set of Papertrey Ink.

I used my little hole punch (I forget what you call that thingy!) so I could thread my ribbon through, and then it was done!!

Leftovers of Ham and Cheese breakfast souffle tomorrow!!

LUCKY ME!
