Happy Canada Day!

Woo Hoo!!

Happy Birthday Canada! You made another one.....LOL! I say that to myself every year.....and happy to do it!

Who better to help me celebrate that Still Hot Granny! - this is me in ten alot of years!

She is available from the Little Paper Shop and is perfect for a laugh or two at the birthday girl's expense!

She was coloured with copics and glitter pens and embellished with blingitty bling bling!! LOVE IT!!

Here is a close up of her purr-tey little earrings.....and the flower embellishment.

Bazzill white flower, red Prima flower and an antique button from a little place in Lambeth - Memories on Main Street, with a tidbit of swiss dot ribbon that was laying on my desk!!

Sentiment is from Birthday Basics at Papertrey Ink and it was cut out with the Stamping Up word punch and popped up on glue dots!

I would like to tell you that I paper pierced all around the card and on the white inset, but really, my sewing machine tension was all screwed up so I just took out the thread, and voila!! paper piercing!

I cuttlebugged both of the red panels with the birthday folder, added a bit more bling to her purse and she was ready to celebrate tonight with fireworks!!

Holly is having a Canada Day picnic today with salads and pork tenderloin and some sort of drink concoction - sounds fabulous doesn't it??! I need to go and make my vegan salads.....don't ask.....

Have fun at the fireworks!!
