Ways to use Copics!!

Yay! Another excuse to use the Copics!!

The challenge today is Ways to use Copics! Of course if you don't have copics you can use other markers - but the idea is to alter something with your alcohol markers!!

Well I chose to ink up some white Bazzill Petal Pusher flowers from Embellish-It Scrapbooking - I love to be able to alter them to whatever colour I need!

I also used yesterday's sketch challenge which was a little different - not hard at all - but the panels had to be placed onto the left side of the card, which made it a little lopsided - IMO - so that is why my sentiment is hovering towards the right side of the card - I was trying to balance it out!!

I added some white adhesive pearls to the centers of the flowers, and place them on my Basic Grey Stella Ruby designer paper.

Now that I look at it I think I added an extra layer!! Oh dear......lol!

I used my Cuttlebug tag die to make a tag for the Lemon Tart ribbon to thread through and stamped my sentiment from Silhouette Blooms II on a white piece of paper and glued it to the tag.

The base of my card is Stamping UP Chocolate chip cardstock - very dark and rich and gorgeous and yummo! Oooo, I'm hungry!!

The high-speed internet saga continues..........

Mr. Hiney-man left a note on my door saying that the nearest tower was 35 km (about 28 miles) away and that we could not get high speed, and therefore they were closing my case. ?????

So I called their office and mentioned that the nearest tower was actually 6 km (4 miles) away and there is another 15 km (12 miles) away.

That guy on the phone said I was right (I knew it) and that another technician would be out next Tuesday.........oh.. my.. word......I am almost losing my mind.....over a dang computer.......

Mr. Hiney-man was probably having a bad day and just didn't want to work on your case...you should let him know how you feel about you waiting for your hispeed.

  4. Love your flowers! Happy card Bonnie! We have satelite here as it is our only option on the mountain. Do you have that option up there? It isn't lightning fast like DSL but it is pretty zippy and it is the best we can get! All you need is a clear view of the southern sky!It works well, and we have to have it as well for TV. Look into satelite, if you haven't yet! No towers needed!Good luck! Deb
