Ways to Use it Challenge!!

A couple of announcements first.......Little Paper Shop has a sale going on from January 1 - 7th and everything in the store is on SALE!! from 10% to 50% while supplies last, so hop on over to check that out!!

Also, Embellish-It Scrapbooking still is offering 20% off the May Arts ribbon - YAY! I LOVE ribbon!!

This Ways to Use it challenge was yesterday - yes I am sooooooo bad....... but sooooooooo rested!
I needed it............doesn't everybody?

The challenge was called "Ringing in the New Year" and you had to use silver on your creation and so I remembered the peel-offs that I had - just a few or so......

I used the butterfly ones and then coloured in the middle with the copics.

Using Pink Paislee Sweet Cakes paper I tried to keep some white space, but I am not so good at the white space thing, so I added one or two?? beautiful Prima hydrangea flowers with some pretty bling-y thing-ys in the middle!

Oooooooooo--I love the big bold bright colours o
n this one!!

Reminds me of spring....*sniff*......I know it is h
ere somewhere.........

  5. What a pretty card! Your big, bold, bright sentence brought back memories from my teaching days. I had a huge Art reminder poster up in my classroom, which said, "Make it--Big-Bold-Bright--spill it over the side and outline in black!" And those were my rules--Those third graders really produced the great pictures!

I always enjoy your site. I have just started visiting again after the holidays have slowed down. Tomorrow Christmas decorations come down and the house will be back to normal.

    Have a great week-end!
