You Make Everything Special.......

The Ways to Use it Challenge on Splitcoast was to layer-up your embellishments......all very fun!

Awhile back, I had decorated a notepad in the delicious Bittersweet papers, so I thought I would add a little decorated tin to accompany it - but make it a little bit better by adding chocolate!!

Don't even look at the ends of that ribbon - must have had my eyes closed for that one.........

Basic Grey Bittersweet papers and a glazed brad, with Prima hydrangeas and leaves, and another one of those sweet Jenni Bowlin feathers all layered up so prettily.

I used a little flag of paper and combined the sentiment "special" from Papertrey Ink's Heartfelt Basics and "you make everything" from Papertrey Ink's Spiral Bouquet to come up with a sweet saying!

I added a bit of faux stitching to match the notebook. I thought it turned out not so bad!

  2. This is yummy! Love your layering! I closed my eyes so I didn't see the ends of the ribbon so I have no idea what you are talking about there. *giggle*.
