Give a Dog a Bone....

A bone for a new neighbourhood puppy......a few months ago because this is one of the first projects that I did for the Dirty Dozen in April - my first month!

The theme for April was "Going Green" figurately or literally - green creations or being "earth"green..... My puppy tag falls under the "earth" green and recycling - and this is how it goes.

This is simply an office supply manila tag juiced up and attached to one of those delicious chewy bones that get all gooey and disgusting when the new little puppy dives right in!

Talk about a natural cycle......the receiver of said chewy bone will soon have his digestive system signaled to deliver the ultimate fertilizer to keep the lawn (maybe mine....!) greener than ever!

The stamps used are from a combination of two sets by Kim Hughes, Cutie Pet-tootie and Pet-tootie Sentiments, both available at Cornish Heritage Farms

....and thanks for hanging in there!

Stamps: Cutie Pet-Tootie, Pet-Tootie Sentiments (Cornish Heritage Farms) Ink:
Memento, Ranger Distress Ink, Inkssentials white gel pen Paper: Office Supply tag, SEI, Cosmo Cricket, Imaginisce Accessories: scallop punch, Petite Oval Nestabilities, button, twine

  2. Just don't step in the fertilizer! Your tag is adorable! My puppy would eat it though right along with the bone...and my flip flop, and the kids toys, and the cats food, and her own fertilizer...ugh.
