Always and Forever...........

ETA: Hubby just brought me 30 red roses to celebrate every married year together - I'll try to remember to post a picture - so excited!! they are beautiful!!

Today I have been married to the love of my life for thirty (30) t-h-i-r-t-y years!!..........it is so amazing how it sounds like such a long time, but it has really flown by.......

As with any couple, we have been through our ups and downs for sure, but we managed to come out the other side bigger and stronger than ever (bigger in more ways than one lol!)

I am told that January 12 was a bitter cold day in 1980 but I don't remember it being cold. My clearest memory from 30 years ago, is walking down the aisle with my step-dad and seeing my hubby at the front of the church and he was so happy!

Now, when we talk about the day we were married, we both chuckle at how young we were and how we knew absolutely nothing about life but thought we knew everything! And we survived.

Enough blabbering (and blubbering...*sniff*) that brings me to my card today - it's not an anniversary card, but a Valentine card featuring the Sweethearts set from Waltzingmouse Stamps.

I sewed a little vellum pocket with a little punched band and adhered it to the front of my card base.

The Valentine that is tucked inside the pocket has a scalloped heart attached at the very top that serves as a little handle you can use to remove it from the pocket.

The punched edge is a combination of the Martha Stewart edge lace punch and the Martha Stewart edge heart punch layered on top.

Thank you for coming around and letting me tell my little story!

Stamps: Sweethearts (Waltzingmouse Stamps)
