This Tangled Life....in a Rainbow!

I thought this week's Make it Monday challenge at Papertrey Ink was a strange one - but I had some stamping time so I thought I would give it  go and  it turned out oh so pretty - shows what I know - hah!

We were to make a rainbow medallion of sorts, from a stamp set that was not cut out for such a job feat.

I chose to use the Christmas tree stamp from Love Lives Here - Holiday and stamped it in a circle with a rainbow of inks!

I love how the tree stamp made a couple of little frames on its own when lined up the way it is.  It was a perfect frame for the Jar Label Die!

I added a mess of thread behind the Jar Label Die to match the theme - tangled life and all -

The stamp set for the sentiment is called Purls of Wisdom - "purls" to pull together the whole knitting/stitching thing again...

I was rather happy with how this turned out and I may have to try it again with another stamp set.....

  4. Great way to get more use out of holiday stamps! I too like how the design of the tree created it's own frames with the way it lined up. Beautiful!
