Imagine Crafts and CAS-ual Fridays Collaboration!

Good Morning! - Exciting things on the old blog-a-roo today!  CASual Fridays Stamps is having a collaboration hop with Imagine Crafts and we are showing you some different products available to you from Imagine Crafts!

I would imagine (hah! - see what I did there?) that you have come this way from the fabulous blog of Terre Fry  - if not - why not consider heading back to the CAS-ual Fridays blog or the Imagine Crafts blog to start at the beginning!  You will have a chance at winning 1 of 2 fabulous prizes!

Okay - on to the good stuff :) - I have a couple of projects for you - crazy I know.

I am not a prolific user of mediums such as pastes and sprays - so this was a fabulous opportunity to get my craft on!

I began by stamping the Tin Roof background stamp onto white cardstock with Black StazOn ink.

Using the Treble Clef Fri-Die, I diecut two black cardstock images.  While I held the 1st die onto my background, I spread on Imagine Crafts Gold Creative Medium using Imagine Crafts Palette Knives - concentrating a heavier amount on top of the treble clef and thinning it out farther away.  I carefully lifted the diecut image and since I had a thick amount, I was left with quite raised image - very pleased!

I set it aside and impatiently waited for it to dry - HAH!  I inserted the 2nd treble clef into the space and I just LOVE the effect!  - this gold is a true gold and oh, so pretty!

The sentiment, from Casual Fridays Big Treble, was stamped with Versamark Ink onto black cardstock, embossed with Imagine Crafts white embossing powder and popped up beside the treble clef.  I added some pretty sequins, gold ribbon and my obligatory black and white twine!

My second creation is not so involved but just as pretty.

Using various coloured Imagine Crafts VersaMagic chalk inks I stamped the flowers and leaves from Pretty Posies onto white cardstock and embossed with Imagine Crafts clear embossing powder.  These chalk inks are so bright and beautiful - as you can see!  They dry quickly, but not so fast that you can't emboss- making embossing a breeze.

I adhered the embossed flowers onto patterned paper making sure to pop up a few.

I stamped the sentiment from CAS-ual Fridays Girlfriend stamp set onto clear acetate using StazOn ink - no smearing with StazOn - I KNOW! I then fussy cut the "love ya" sentiment and adhered it - making sure to slightly overlap on top of the flowers - I love the see through sentiment!

I certainly hope you are having fun on the hop and now you will continue on to Martha Lucia Gomez' blog!
