There is a new sketch blog in blogworld!
It is called 2 Sketches 4 You and I love the way they draw their sketches!! LOL!
Anyway, I made up a card for their sketch challenge, each out of the same designer paper, because I love it and shamefully, I don't know what the paper is called.
I know it is from Wal-Mart but I opened it up as soon as I got it and there is no name on the sheets, top, bottom back - nothin'....Should be keeping track of it......
The base of the card is Very Vanilla by Stampin' UP! and the stamp set is Beautiful from The Rummage Bin at Cornish Heritage Farms. I love this set because those flourishes and swirls are fabulous!! and I love the font on the word "Beautiful"!
Some of the layers are mounted on chocolate chip cardstock by Stamping UP! and some on the designer paper.
I did some faux stitching on all the layers with my brown tombow marker and stamped the sentiment with dark brown Colorbox fluid chalk ink.
The chipboard flourish is from Maya Road and I cut it in half because they are BIG!!
I traced it onto one of the green sheets of the designer paper, cut it out, glued it onto the flourish and then sanded it with a sanding block that I got at the hardware store.
Then I sanded the buttons too, for more of a distressed look and then went to town on the card. Hard to see it but click on the photo and you will see that I sanded everything!!
The flowers are Prima Hydrangea's and are my NEW favourite flower now!!
I hope you like it!! Have a good day!
This is beautiful Bonnie!!! thanks for playing along:)
