This week, being the third week at Crazy 4 Challenges, we have a sketch for you!

And here is my take on the sketch!

I love these cute little piggies and their sweet noses!  Reverse Confetti's "Cured" fits the bill for a sweetheart of a piggy stamp set!

I stamped, watercolored and diecut the piggies, the trough and the little banner.  Using dimensional glue dots, I popped up one of the clouds and the trough.

Excuse the lighting.....I don't know why I couldn't get it right this week - ugh!!

Good Morning!  Crazy 4 Challenges has a monochromatic challenge this week!

Just create a card using only one colour of different shades! Black is also legal :)

I decided to use different shades of gray and I stamped with Reverse Confetti's Rollin'.   I multi stamped the roller skate in black on a diecut circle.

 I popped a lot of up designer paper to give it a little bit of snazz!

Crazy 4 Challenges - It's all about Water!

Today is Swim a Lap Day!  We want you to include some form of water on your card for our challenge this week......a river, the ocean, a pool, raindrops, bubbles - you can go crazy!

I used a water stamp from Hero Arts and inked it up with all sorts of blues.  I added some sand using kraft cardstock and sponged kraft ink onto my stencil to jazz it up a bit.

I stamped the Lockhart Adirondack chair and flowers with Memento Ink, coloured it haphazardly using Spectra Alcohol Markers and fussy cut it out so I could pop it up onto the "sand".

I die cut the Papertrey Ink hearts and stamped the Reverse Confetti sentiment using black ink.

June is Rose Month!

Good Day!  Did you know that June is Rose Month? Me either!

That is our challenge this week at Crazy 4 Challenges, - Roses!! Whether you want to use one rose or a bouquet of roses - anything is fine - just go for it!

I had extra dies from last week's card, so they were perfect to use! And....we have had to use these dang sympathy cards lately....ugh so sad.

I use all Reverse Confetti product for my card - except for the middle scalloped panel - that is Papertrey Ink. Check them out!

Just a short post today - I think I am the lucky recipient of intestinal flu - yikes and yuck.

It's Repeat Day on Crazy 4 Challenges!

Good day - oh boy it feels good to be back - if even sporadically!

We have had a few changes going on in our home (all good) so I have been rearranging.  That means my craft room - holy yuck I have a lot of stuff - yikes.

Anyway - back to Crazy 4 Challenges. Did you know that today is Repeat Day! - so with your creation this week, we want you to repeat something three times.

It could be three circles, three flowers, three elephants - whatever you think deems repeating - even PICKUP YOUR SOCKS! - 3 times - we've all done that haha

I took a different route, sort of.  I used three images dies - two times each - and that counts believe me!

Using Reverse Confetti Rose Garden stamp set and Confetti Cuts, I stamped the rose image twice with Versamark ink and embossed with white embossing powder.  I then sponged Piggy Back, Flamingo and Rose ink onto the roses and diecut them.

I stamped and diecut two leaves and two spriggy leafy things and arranged them all in a pleased order onto the Linked Circles Cover Panel Confetti Cuts, which in turn was popped up onto a panel of Smoke cardstock.  That whole panel was then adhered to my Piggy Back card base.

Using Simon Says Stamp Smoke ink, I stamped the sentiment from Reverse Confetti Simply Sentiments onto white cardstock and adhered it to my card.

Have a little fun!

Good day---time for another Crazy 4 Challenges post!

Since yesterday was Tea Day we are all about Tea.......or we'll even take Coffee if you prefer-as I do.  I love a good cup of tea with my friend but coffee is my go to loveliness haha!

I used the fun fun patterned paper from Craft Smith called Fandango--oh so colourful!

I diecut my Reverse Confetti mugs from the same patterned paper and added a cute little butterfly from Crafter's Companion Die'sire Nature dies.

The sentiment is from Essentials by Ellen - Up the Happy! stamp set.

A Happy Hello - Crazy 4 Challenges!

Good Morning and welcome to another week of Crazy 4 Challenges!  This week our challenge to you is to use a wild animal in your creation!

I decided to use 3 wild animals - I KNOW! I'm animal crazy this week haha.

To begin, I diecut the smallest square of the Three Metal Die Pack - that is included with the Gemini Die Cutting and Embossing Machine - and stamped the beautiful border die from Crafter's Companion EZ Mount Elements 2 Rubber Stamp Set along the bottom edge of the square.

I coloured that gorgeous foliage using my Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers in what I think would be jungle colours.

I masked off the image and stamped the three little wild animals from Reverse Confetti as if they were peeking out from the jungle. Cute! I then coloured the animals with my Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers.

I added a few sequins and the Reverse Confetti sentiment.  I still didn't think it popped very much so I took my light grey( IG1) marker and traced around the images.

Create Together!

I've been forturnate enough to be able to contribute to Marcie Sharp's Create Together post this week.  For those who don't know, Marcie is my multi-talented daughter so I am extremely excited to participate!

This week, the theme is St. Patrick's Day, which conjures up a lot of green and fun!

I chose to bring out Reverse Confetti's Monkey Business along with Whole Lotta Happy focusing on green as my main colour!

My markers are in Florida so I used my Zig Real Brush Markers on this little monkey and his green flag.

I added a few green sequins along with twine to pull together the neutral shades.

I am also entering this card into Crazy 4 Challenges theme this week-which is to base your card on a book - whether it be children's or adult books.

My card is all about Curious George Lol! He's a rascal! Join in on the Crazy 4 Challenges theme this week - won't you?!

Colour Throwdown #429

Good Morning!  I'm playing in the Color Throwdown this week - aqua, orange and black - such vibrant summery colours - love them!

I pulled out two sets from Reverse Confetti for my card - Butterfly Dreams along with the matching Confetti cuts and Fancy Word Coordinates.

I began by watercolouring a simple striped background using my Ganzai Tambi watercolour paints. I added a strip of similar coloured card stock along the bottom and a scalloped circle from Circles 'n Scallops tucked in just a bit.

I stamped the butterfly with Hero Arts Mint to Green Ombre ink and diecut it with the matching butterfly Confetti Cuts. I popped it up onto the scalloped circle.

I trimmed a flag from cardstock, stamped the sentiment in black and popped it up onto the aqua cardstock.

I finished by added few enamel dots in different shapes and sizes!

Reverse Confetti - Celebrate!

 Good day! Oh man I haven't been blogging for awhile - somehow my blog got kind of snookered up - it had a bunch of exclamation points all over it - crazy!!  I finally managed to get it semi-fixed with some help from Marcie - honestly frustrating!

Anyway - here I am back with this month's Sketch For You To Try (SFYTT) from Reverse Confetti!

I love their products so much-  especially Garden Bunch - those flowers are just so sweet!

I stamped a few of the flowers using Reverse Confetti's Aqua, Iced Aqua and PTI Aqua Mist - so pretty all together! The leaves are from the Whole Lotta Thanks stamp set and I used RC Stone ink.

My background is from Reverse Confetti  Warm Heart 6 x 6 paper pad and the card base is RC stone.  I added the pretty Lacy Scallop Frame on top of the PTI Swiss Dot patterned paper and then layered the pretty flowers from Garden Bunch.

The sentiment is from another of my favourite sets  - Bitty Banners - I stamped in versa mark onto my cardstock and white embossed it with my heat gun.

Winter Coffee Lover's Blog Hop!!

Good day and it's Friday!!  Welcome to the 2016 Winter Coffee Lover's Blog Hop!!  If you want to know more about this fun hop and how you can participate, click on the link and read all about it.  It is a fun way to craft it up with other coffee/tea/hot chocolate lovers.....wahoo!!

We are in Florida for the winter but I did bring a few stamps with me along with my copic markers and some paints - so I can get my craft on - so to speak - when I'm not on the golf course or BASKING in the sunshine (sorry snowy weather people)

I brought my Reverse Confetti "Coffee and You" stamp set purposely for the Winter Coffee Lovers  Blog Hop.  I knew it would be a perfect set.

I staged my sweet elephant out in the snow with his little mice friends and some extra coffee.  I tucked the little coffee cups into the snow bank - made by die-cutting the round edge from Reverse Confetti Edgers Confetti Cuts - and topped one of the cups with a cute mouse.

I added the Reverse Confetti Snowflake Trio Confetti Cuts along the "sky" and added sequins for sparkle.  The sentiment is also from the Coffee and You stamp set.

Simons Says Stamp's Wednesday Challenge is all about Ice this week - so I am entering my creation into their challenge as well!

You're Cherry Sweet - except for Google

Good day - cripes, I was almost locked out of my blog.....gotta love google.

The current sketch at Reverse Confetti and the beautiful colours at Color Throwdown were my focus today for my card - sketches and colours - thank you for making this card an easy one!

I stamped and diecut using the cute stamp set from Reverse Confetti - In a Jam - along with the matching Confetti Cuts.

Using the sketch and colours I assembled my card and stamped the sentiment along the bottom - that is from Fancy Word Coordinates.

Short post today - Google has me frazzled!

Blessed by Flowers!

There is a new challenge in town and it is called The Flower Challenge - disbelief - these are my most favourite things!  There is a new theme every week but flowers are the must!

The beginning challenge is Anything Goes - how simple right?!

I used Reverse Confetti products for my floral creation today.

I diecut the pretty new Lacy Scallop Frame Confetti Cuts from white cardstock and using the largest frame, adhered it to my white card base.

I stamped a few of the blooms from Blooms 'N Buds and placed them in what I think is a pleasing manner. Do you ever really know?  I am such a symmetrical person that when I go all willy-nilly my brain pretty much explodes.

Using the Grateful, Thankful, Blessed Confetti Cuts, I diecut with patterned paper and then trimmed the word 'Blessed' so I could use it individually.

After adhering the sentiment, I embellished with Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins!

The Challenge - Batty about you!

I am thrilled to be The Challenge's Guest Designer this week!  With this challenge - every week is a whole new ball game....uhm...challenge!

This week is a sketch challenge so I brought out my new Reverse Confetti Treat Yo-self stamp set. My background patterned papers are from Reverse Confetti Fright Night 6 x 6 Pad- their NEW patterned papers! Using Your Next Stamp's Double Stitched Hills Die, I cut the patterned paper to make some scary hills - right?!

I stamped the sentiment onto the white circle cut from the Circle 'n Scallops Confetti Cuts and adhered it to the scalloped Confetti Cuts circle..  I popped it up too the patterned paper and flanked it with the cute bats from Halloween Bits Confetti Cuts.  I couldn't resist placing the ghost behind the scalloped circle peeking out and saying BOO!

I also made a little treat container using the Treat Tube Topper Confetti Cuts.  I diecut two toppers and stamped the sentiment in Reverse Confetti Tangerine Ink. This is the easiest container ever to put together - two pieces of tape per end is all you need! 

I tied black twine around each end and slid it onto the plastic tube that is full of Trident Gum - and it's orange - what a score!

My black twine was not in a co-operative mood.

Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!

YAY!! It's time for the Fall Coffee Lovers Blogshop - a week long celebration of coffee lovers -- woohoo (or tea for that matter)!

I have a funky little card made with Reverse Confetti products - I used the new Blooms 'N Buds (the leaves), Leaves Cover Panel Confetti Cuts,  Just Brew It,  For the Love of Latte (sentiment), and Donut You Know stamp set and Confetti Cuts - because you know -  Coffee and Donuts? Yes, Please.

The Leaves Cover Panel was cut twice and then after trimming a bit off the edge of the white panel, I offset the Canyon Clay layer so that both would show - totally cool!

I stamped the sentiment on a frame diecut from Lacy Scallop Frame Confetti Cuts and popped it up onto the Leaves Cover Panel.  

After stamping and assembling the donut, leaves and trendy mug - I popped them up too for added dimension!

Color Throwdown - The Lord's Strength

I'm on the time line (again) and want to post this card before the end of the Colour Throwdown deadline!

I loved the soft colours which I thought went along with a sympathy card....an unfortunate necessity sometimes.

I didn't go with flowers this time - crazy I know, I'm a flower lover! but instead I went semi-trendy.

Using the new Reverse Confetti Wheat Confetti Cuts, the sentiment from Reverse Confetti's The Lord's Strength and Papertrey Ink's Cover Plate: Centre Stage Die my creation came together quite nicely!

My cardstock is Papertrey Ink's Aqua Mist and Pale Peony along with Simon Says Stamp Smoke.  The circle dies are the cross-stitch from Cottage Cutz.

Mr. and Mrs. Inspiration

Good morning!  There's a new challenge inspiration at Inspired by all the Little Things!

First of all -  I love the Black and White .....and then there is that pop of Peach! Ooo-la-la!

Using Reverse Confetti's All Framed Up, I diecut frames from white and Soft Stone cardstock and picked a few of my favourites and adhered them to a black cardstock panel.

I stamped and diecut those pretty flowers and leaves from Papertrey Ink's Sketchy Flowers in Altenew's Peach Perfect Ink, SSS Fog and SSS Smoke inks.  I highlighted a few of the flowers with my copic markers.

I stamped the sentiment from Reverse Confetti's Bitty banners and diecut using the matching Confetti Cuts - love it!

However, the finishing touch has got to be those Rose Gold sequins from Pretty Pink Posh - they bring out the peach perfectly!!

Colour Throwdown #408

Hi Everyone - it's time for another Color Throwdown and this week the colours are celebrating Primary colours - it's back to school time!! Are you ready for your little sweethearts to go back to school? Are they ready - haha!

I wanted to ink up my new Toucan of Friendship by Reverse Confetti - pretty easy to apply those colours to that cute toucan!

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and then coloured it with my copic markers.  After die cutting with the matching Confetti Cut dies, I popped up the image onto a rectangle and stamped the sentiment.

I kept the layout quite clean so I wouldn't detract from the colourful image.   Using one of the frames from the All Framed Up Confetti Cuts seemed to add the perfect touch!

Leaping Lions!

Color Throwdown and The Paper Players are in my creative mind today!  Colour Throwdown colours are pink, kraft and grey - with whatever other neutral you want to thrown in there - and The Paper Players are looking for wild animals - yay!

I used Reverse Confetti product today - I mean isn't this just the wildest of all animals from in the animal kingdom? - This sweet little lion, from Leaping Lions,  looks like he is on a holiday from being mean - just a cutie of an image!

Using Kuretake Gambai Tambi paints - I swashed up a background in pink on watercolour cardstock. I die cut it with Your Next Stamp Stitched Rectangle Die Set.

I coloured Mr. Lion and his little stool with copic markers and then die cut them with the matching Confetti Cuts.  Using foam tape, I popped the images up onto the watercolour background.

The sentiment, from Leaping Lions, was stamped in VersaFine Smokey Gray and the hearts are from Reverse Confetti's Weather It Together.

I die cut the banner from Kraft and Smokey Shadow cardstock.

The watercolored panel was adhered to a sheet of Avery Elle Everyday Collection patterned paper - it's full of fun little grey triangles and I tied a bit of twine around the top for TONS of interest....

Happy Mother's Day! X2

Well, yesterday was Mother's Day - was it a fun day for you? It can be difficult for some so the day drags by for sure.

We are lucky enough, blessed enough, fortunate enough to have my mother and Ron's mother still in our lives and so I made a card for each (naturally)

This first card.....well I'm also sneaking it in the Color Throwdown challenge hehe....the colours were just too good to pass up!

Aren't they pretty??!!

I used an image that Marcie owns from Avery Elle called Canopy - I wasn't sure about it at first, but I absolutely LOVE the way it all came together!

I coloured the image with my copic markers and highlighted some of the flowers with Wink of Stella clear brush pen - I love the glisten this pen gives to an image, just yummy!

The sentiment is from Reverse Confetti's Whole Lotta Happy and the huge butterfly is from Reverse Confetti's Butterfly Dreams and it was stamped in Raspberry Fizz ink and die cut using the matching Confetti Cuts and then popped up onto the Canopy image.

I created my second card using Papertrey Ink's Bloomin' Cute stamp set - and it really is Bloomin' Cute!

The great thing about the dies in this Bloomin' Cute set is - the dies are joined together of course, but only two of the dies (two leaves) are within the other dies.  This means you don't have to snipsnipsnipsnipsnip your life away before you die cut  - I mean, unless you like to snip them totally apart.....but if you just lay the whole panel of dies on top of a piece of cardstock and run it through your diecut machine - voila!  When I have to snip my life away before I even start to use a stamp set....well I tend to not use it until I really have the ambition/time to cut those dang dies apart.

Anyway - enough rambling - It's Monday!! try to find something enjoyable to do today - wash dishes, laundry, clean up after the weekend, STAMP!!
