DCWV has a wonderful pack of papers called Nana's nursery pack and I used it for the patterned paper on this card. I know I love it and use it often, and not exclusively for baby cards either.
The great thing about Memory Box cardstock, is it is white on one side so you can write on the inside without having to add a piece of white paper to write on. That makes it so fabulously simple!
I stamped the main image, from Swell News, twice in brilliance black ink and coloured her with copics and a wee bit of white gel pen. I added a little line by her feet so she wouldn't look like she is floating, which is rather dangerous for a pregnant woman! At least I think so anyway......
I cut out the just the belly part and popped it up on the main image. Then I used my paper cutter to cut a rectangle around her until I got to her tummy and then hand cut a little bump to emphasize her belly - because I am sure she would love that!! LOL!
I stamped the weigh scale in Versamagic spring pansy and then stamped the sentiment on top. What a cute sentiment!
I layered the sentiment on some more Memory Box lavender paper that was cute out using Stamping Up scalloped punch, then I popped it up on the card.
The flower was punched with the EK Success flower punch in Memory Box lavender paper, doodled on with white gel pen and then adhered to the top left corner.
Very nice! The shadows and all the layers are a great!
ReplyDeleteLove the bump in the layering...you're so smart!
