Hoot! Hoot! Let's Celebrate!
Here is the rest of the card I promised you after the sneak peak on this post!
This was one of the cards I made for the debut of our new design team on Embellish-It Scrapbooking!
August's theme is Back to School and you could interpret that anyway you wish!
I used the theme to demonstrate different techniques - this one being good old paper piecing!!
I used Basic Grey Cupcake for the designer paper and Coredinations cardstock for his cute little party hat and his Quickutz Balloons.
Kraft cardstock is my card base and I did some paper piercing and added a few colourful buttons to finish him off!! Isn't he just so cute!!
Paper piecing and paper piercing!! Why don't you go and check out the Design Team gallery for the other techniques the team has used!!
There is still time to enter the Guest Designer contest on Embellish-it Scrapbooking!!
You need to enter your button card before midnight tonight and you may be chosen to be our Guest Designer for September!! (don't forget to put in your keyword FC1.....)
If you are chosen you will receive everything we do, as designers, to be our Guest Designer for September!!
Then you can make 4 cards to post in our gallery!! Woohoo! So fun!!
Oh Bonnie what a gorgeous card, I so want this set, hoping my friend will be able to send it over to me, so crossing my fingers and toes, lol but you have just given me some fab inspiration.
ReplyDeleteIts been a long time since I visited, things been happening, but so glad I am back
