The Ways to Use it Challenge today was to use Pink of course, being Breast Cancer Awareness month - yes, I know I forgot yesterday.......yikes......but today I remembered!! AND to only use a one word sentiment.
I used Kim Hughes Mocha Chica PaperPack for my paper, which are sooooo fun because all you do is cut - no stamping!! - well, actually that is no fun not stamping, is it, but you know what I mean!!
I just cut the papers and glued them onto the Chocolate chip cardstock base. The scallops are already drawn into the paper!! All I did was add a little shadowing so that they look like they are layers!! Fun!!
I separated the papers with Papertrey Ink Sweet Blush Ribbon and added a few buttons along the side.
I had the Quickutz ribbon die still sitting on my desk from this card, so I used it again and glued the ribbon onto the card.
Using Little Paper Shop's Flourished Dove set, I stamped the word "Hope" in Papertrey Ink Dark Chocolate Ink.
Don't forget to do your breast check in the shower ALL THE TIME! And please have an annual mammogram. Yes, a mammogram is uncomfortable - but guess what? - having a mastectomy is worse!
