I knew I wanted to do a Christmas card, because that is the ONLY thing on my brain..... that stays there anyway..........( gotta make the cards, gotta make the cards, gotta ma......)
I had some scrap cardstock that I dug out from an old card kit that I used to have and it matched perfectly with my 6 x 6 paper pack Basic Grey Eva.
I pulled a couple of complimentary sheets of designer paper from that pad and cut them to size according to a square card.
I stamped my Suisse Wreath stamp in Colorbox Olive onto Very Vanilla cardstock, and then I stamped it again in Brilliance Black on one of the designer sheets from the Eva paper in order to
I cut out the bow from the designer paper and did the paper piecing, then added some beautiful, pretty, pretty, pretty blingetty bling to the wreath!! Dontcha just LUV it when thing match perfectly!!!?
The flourishes were stamped in Paper Salon Petal ink -that I have had forever and it hadn't dried up yet wahoo! and Papertrey Ink Spring Moss and they too matched perfectly!! YA BABY!!
I added a frill on the bottom from Fiskar's Threading Water paper punch, which I love by the way - the scallop's are not overly huge or overly little - just perfect!!
A wee bit of trivia ........so far I have said perfect or perfectly 5 times. I will leave it at that because I don't want to say perfect anymore......... d'oh......!
WOW! This is great! I love how you have used less traditional colours for this festive card.
