Sorry I missed posting yesterday. I like to try to keep my non-post days to Sundays, but this week has been crazy!! But Fun!
Ron has gone to The Farm Show in Louisville Kentucky, and I have been looking after my grand-babies for a couple of days while my daughter has some blood tests and scans done.
She had a bit of trouble after the birth of her little girl, so hopefully this is getting it all cleared up! so I am on Grandma duty!! yay!
What are Grandma's for anyway??!! Like GrammaStamper(Barb) said, "There's nothing like being a 'grandma' on this earth" and she is so right!!
Speaking of babies, (what a segway eh?) I made this card awhile ago and I don't think I have ever posted it.
Since I didn't have time to make anything, it came in handy dandy!
I am not even a lover of purple but this is a "Just in case I don't know the sex of the baby" card so purple and green fit right in!
This little giraffe and sentiment is part of the set Baby Love by Kim Hughes. I coloured him with copics, mounted him on paper cut with my rectangle nestabilities and then on the purple cardstock that was cut with the scalloped rectangle nestabilities.
The designer paper is from DCWV Nana's Nursery Baby Boy, but you can use it for boy or girl don't you think??
I cut the bottom with my Stamping Up scalloped punch and added some pretty green baubles from Stamping Bella, that I bought specifically for Christmas Cards and never used them!
I tied some May Arts ribbon in a bow and tacked it onto the rectangle - now that I look at it, I think it looks like the poor little giraffe is being strangled! I didn't realize that until I was writing up this post! lol!
Have a good day and stay inside if it looks like it is going to storm.....there is some nasty weather brewing all around us! Praying for those people that are in the tornadoes......
