Make Yourself at Home....

Today's Limited Supply Challenge was so cool! Make a card based on one of the rooms in your home. Well, my kitchen is a gorgeous red colour, and since I had just received this sweet little Hola Chica in the mail from Paper Pretties (available soon!!), it was the perfect stamp to use!!

Scroll down to see a peek at my kitchen. There is NO WAY I would show you the whole always has farm papers (ya, farm papers.....not cardstock and not designer paper and certainly not cards.....just farm papers) strewn all!!

I used Prism cardstock and Basic Grey Marrakech designer paper for this little chic, so I could make her all pretty and bright!

I used my new Spellbinders Labels Four to cut her out and then I paper pieced her skirt and her blouse. I had coloured the blouse orange and I didn't like it so I restamped and coloured and cut and paper pieced again so that it was aqua.

The tag is from Spellbinders Wizard Tag Trio and
has the sentiment stamped on it and then I attached it to a Prima Flower with a Basic Grey brad and popped it up onto the image!

I was over at Marcie's babysitting sweet little baby Robin, so I had to make do with a corner punch to make the scallops (poor ol' me!!) I think a Stamping UP Scallop punch better go on Marcie's Christmas list!!

  1. I love how you did her skirt! So fun! Great card!!

  2. You sure nailed it with your color challenge, love the paper pieced skirt, did you take it from the curtain, lol!
    Fabulous card Bonnie!

  3. This is so cute Bonnie! What a great job, her skirt is fabulous!

  4. Bonnie - this is beautiful. Have to echo the others - the skirt is absolutely wonderful!!! The little things (and while this doesn't count as "little" in size, it's the fact that you cut out each "little" panel, made it absolutely wonderful (yes I'm repeating myself; too early to think very clearly).

  5. I think a scalloped punch should go on Marcie's Christmas list too...

    Love, *ahem* Marcie xo :)

  6. Beautiful card with our little Chica! I love her with those Marrakesh papers myself!! Love how you've done the paper piecing, she's gorgeous!!!
