Spring Fling Challenge!

Nicole Heady has a Spring Fling challenge on her blog asking us to be inspired by one of the photos her design team chose for their inspiration!

Well I have always been in awe of Melissa Phillips creations and I love how she used the mug from the Everyday Classics Anniversary Stamp set in the bottom half of this card so yep, I did it too!

This stamp set was only available as a bonus for buying stamp sets from Papertrey Ink. If you bought 12 stamp sets through their year, you qualified for their Anniversary set. See all the details here!

The sentiment is from the Tea for Two set that was released this April and I am OVER using it but I love it!

I chose this photo of Heather Nichols for inspiration because I love the earthiness of it and it's a quilt, I mean come on!!

I did a bit of "messy" sewing around the edges - on PURPOSE! well, except for the bottom right corner where the machine goofed up. Notice how I strategically placed my watermark there?! Good tip!

Off to garage sales this morning......what a weekend!!

Supplies: All supplies Papertrey Ink unless specified
Stamps: 2008 Anniversary Stamp Set, Tea for Two
Paper: Melon Berry, 2008 Bitty Dot Basics, Vintage Cream
