On the 20th of every month the Dirty Dozen and Dirty Dozen Alumni, are offered a challenge for the month.
The challenge hostess this month is Valerie Stangle (aka 11Valerie11) and, if the DD/DDA choose to accept it, the challenge is to:
"Create a project that screams school's out for summer. Do you like the beach, camping, the mountains, bbqing? You name it, whatever screams summer to you, is fair game."
Required Element: Mini brads
Restricted Element: Buttons
Crap, no buttons. and those silly mini brads......my goodness, listen to me whine about having to do a Dirty Dozen challenge! LOL!!!!
Well, I think I did pretty good anyway. I chose to use Taylor's sketch for this one, along with a Stamp a Sweet Expressions stamp from "A Year of Stamps 2". I also used the key ingredients from my first set I got back in April - oh baby! I am so far behind in using my stuff!
I coloured the image with copics and added some Stickles to the butterfly and the sweet little flowers!
The sentiment, from Day at the Beach (Papertrey Ink) was perfect for my creation, because I can't even begin to express how thankful I am to be a part of the Dirty Dozen design team. Still not believing it and it seems like a big ol' dream!
