I took an on-line class a few months ago from the marvellously talented Tania Willis, and we learned several ways to use items already in your home......you know, instead of buying, buying, buying!! (of course, at the time I wondered what is the fun of that...)
There were several techniques that you would just bop yourself over the head and think - why didn't I think of that? - and one of them was stamping on tissue paper......easy enough....
I finally got around to making a tissue paper flower after seeing this beauty from Lauren Meader! Isn't it gorgeous?
I cut several flowers from the Spellbinders Blossom Die out of green tissue paper and then stamped one of the flowers from Little Paper Shop's {Endless Arrangements} around the edges of each tissue paper flower. I crinkled up the tissue paper and then gluedotted (very technical term) each one together and then onto the card.
I rounded my flap with the Spellbinders Scalloped Circle Die and then I just added a bit of Velcro to the underside of the flap for a closure, but it would be pretty with a tie or a ribbon too!
Don't forget that Little Paper Shop has everything on sale until August 31st to celebrate their new design and their is even a freebie digital image in the new forum!! Check out all the details here!
My little granddaughter Robin just got her first tooth today........it made me so happy and then a little sad.......she is growing up so fast.......what a mush I am.......
