I love this beautiful stamp set from Little Paper Shop! This stamp is actually bricks but I stamped it onto a piece of Basic Grey Eskimos Kisses designer paper and it is a woodgrain look paper so it turned out kind of funky-like!
I stamped the fireplace four times, once for the fireplace, once for the insert, once for only the fire and once for the mantel. I coloured the fire with copics, cut it out and popped it up onto the fire on the insert.
I popped up the actual brick fireplace over the insert so that it looked like the fire was back in farther.....I cut out the mantel and glued it onto the fireplace.
The stockings are also coloured with copics, cut out and popped up to look like they are hanging from the fireplace mantle.
The sentiment overtop of the fireplace is actually one long sentiment but I cut it in two so that I could fit it onto the Oval Nestabilties without having to stamp and wipe and wipe and stamp. As Allison says, "I will not be bound by rubber!!" (or something like that and in this case, photopolymer - haha!)
