The theme this month is Mother's Day - one of the most wonderful days of the year (since I am a wife and mother I can say that lol!)

I have a project for you made by a wife and mother (me) for a garage/bake sale organized and put on by her husband and daughter - BUT as always the wife and mother (me) stepped in and needed to provide cookies!

So this is what the wife and mother has been up to instead of making my Mother's Day project!!

Using an envelope and this tutorial, I made 12 of these pretty treat bags or "bag-a-lopes" and added cookies to them.

I went with a black and white colour scheme since I think it always looks very elegant!!

Using the grid background stamp from "Off Beat Backgrounds", I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on the bottom of the bag. Then the Very Vintage Labels No. 4  stamp set was stamped in Fresh Snow ink onto black cardstock and cut out with the Spellbinders Labels Four nestabilities.

I think stamped the word "cookies" from the Little Box Labels stamp set - and it was cut out with the Petite Oval Nestabilties and adhered it to the Very Vintage Labels No. 4 die cut.

I punched the top of the bag with the Martha Stewart Floral Vine Deep Edger punch - isn't it pretty?!!

All together I think it looks just lovely!!
