We have FOUR new beautiful stamp sets being released this month - all full of fun and happiness!
For my first project today, I am going to showcase Waltzingmouse Stamps new set called Vintage Ornaments - which happens to coordinate perfectly with the Spellbinders 2010 Heirloom Ornaments dies!!
I have two cards to show you today using this new set and they both use Colorbox Olive Ink - I guess I was on an olive roll....!
I stamped the polka dot ornament image twice with Colorbox Olive Ink onto Prism cardstock - I love the little mottled effect Prism cardstock gives you......and then I cut them both out with the Spellbinders Ornament die.
The middle of the ornament is a separate stamp and I used Smokey Shadow ink for that. I added a few little Zva bling to both of the ornaments and then popped them up onto my card.
I love how this colour of Prism cardstock (Herbal Garden Light) looks with this new Basic Grey Jovial Christmas paper!
The border punch along the bottom is a Martha Stewart deep edge punch - love it!
My second card also used the polka dot ornament stamp - what can I say - I am a creature of habit!
Instead of the starburst in the middle of this card, I used one of the sentiments, stamped in Colorbox lipstick ink, and then cut out with the Spellbinders oval nestabilities.
I made my card with the K & Company Yuletide Greetings designer paper and some lovely Zva pearls that I coloured with my R37 copic marker......I kind of coloured it sloppily so it would give it a vintage feel!
I popped up the stamped ornament and added some freakishly gorgeous seam binding and I was done - quick and easy!
That's it for today from me, but make sure you travel around to everyone on the design team!! They have some awesomeness you won't want to miss!! and don't forget to come back tomorrow for another peek!
