ETA: Ignore the man behind the curtain!! Joanne pointed out that I have an "E" for my watermark in my last card - NO we are not counting again lol! I mistakenly added the "E" to the this card and I can't for the life of me, figure out how to remove it - d'oh!....
Our design team is so excited to bring you our projects that have been made using, naturally, Waltzingmouse Stamps and the Grand Calibur which Spellbinders were so generous in providing to each member of the WMS design team!!
Here is what our event includes:
• Folks who purchase anything during the 3-day event (8.00am this morning 21st Jan to midnight Sun 23rd - all my time) will be entered into a draw. One person will be randomly picked at the end of the 3 days to receive their shopping basket free!
• We will also draw one random winner per day from comments left on one of the DT blogs just like we do for regular releases (only there will be three days of winners rather than just one!). Each winner will receive a free stamp set of their choice!
• We will also be holding a special challenge after the party. At the end of the event, we will invite all you folks to CASE a card/project from the 3 days. You will have one week to link your entries to the WMS blog post and then we'll pick a random winner for a prize. You may enter as many times as you like. One random winner will receive a set of Grand Nestabilities Dies - Grand Labels 4 and a set of stamps of their choice!
Okay, now on to my projects!
You know I like my home decor projects - so of course I had to come up with a little something today.
I used my Half-Pint Heroes set to begin with and coloured the little car and guy up with copic markers.
Using my new Grand Calibur, I cut out the little sun which is the smallest Spellbinders Large Pinking Circle die, the stop sign from the Spellbinders Octagons and the little "trailer" which is a Spellbinders Fancy Tags die, all from cardstock.
And then, since I have some other company dies ;), I decided to see if they would work in the Grand Calibur and YES!! fabulously so - the cloud die cut through that felt like butter!
I had already painted the black frame with white acrylic paint, so it was ready to go. Using Co'ordinations cardstock, I ripped up a blue sky and the green grass to fit into my frame.
I stamped the trees and the little bird from Teeny Trees onto the "hill" in Colorbox ink and then proceeded to put everything together!
For my next project, I decided a card was in order so I went back to the Grand Calibur and was able to position every die that I needed - and then some -in one swoop through the Calibur - LOVE that and what a time saver!!!
And this is my CAS card using Rescue Remedies- so easy to put together and really fast since you have all the parts available at your fingertips!!
For my last project, I used Spring Baskets - since spring is right around the corner!! I hope Mother Nature is listening haha!
I apologize that the only thing I used the Grand Calibur for on this project is the Fancy Tag. I know - I got caught up in making the card and then forgot that I was supposed to be showcasing !!
I hope you are having fun and that you have enjoyed my projects!
