Welcome to this month's Papertrey Ink Blog Hop!
This month we had a beautiful photo to help us with our inspiration! I still chose to go with a Christmas theme - I have too many stamp sets that need to be used up haha..(yikes).
Here is our inspirational photo for this month….It's beautiful, conjuring up all sorts of chalky creations in my mind…..however, I chose a slightly different route as you can see below.
I was totally inspired by the white frames on the plates along with the beautiful foliage, so I grabbed my Winter Floral Die Cover Plate and die cut it twice --using white card stock.
I water coloured the foliage on one of the die cuts and then snipped away at the other one, placing various white foliage (keeping the frame intake) and adhering it on top, choosing to only show a portion of the water colouring. - Does that make perfect sense??
I adhered it all to a panel of Pure Poppy card stock and then added my die cut sentiment - from the Christmas Cheer dies. I embossed the word "Merry" in white onto another little sliver of Pure Poppy and placed it in an appropriate spot.
I added a few little stars and sequins to finish off my creation! I hope you get a chance to peruse the hop - so much inspiration for you!!
