I'm playing in this week's Your Next Stamp sketch/colour challenge #43! The idea is to use the sketch or the colours shown or both to find your inspiration!
I decided to go for both challenges- and the colours that I used were Light Aqua, Dark Aqua, Grey, Kraft and Red as per the colour challenge.
I inked up and coloured Your Next Stamps Ellie Loves Lattes with my copic markers, trying to make little pleats in her skirt. Not bad I guess!
For my background, I die cut white cardstock with the YNS Puffy Cloud Border Die Set a few times and then set it back together - I kind of like that effect!
My little "garden", the YNS Wild Flowers and Grass Border Die was cut and then watercolored using my Zig Real Brush markers and water. I popped it up and then placed Ellie behind the flowers.
I stamped the sentiment that is with Ellie Loves Lattes and a little heart stamp that is also included, and then finished by tying Bright White Divine twine which is available at the Your Next Stamp Store!

ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous card! I saw it in the challenge line up and had to come tell you how much I liked it. What a great job you did on the pleats in her skirt!! And I really like the way you dis the clouds, too!
