Welcome Baby!

A little different take on a couple of Kim Hughes stamp sets today!

This card came about because I had scraps on my table and stamps laying around - something that is very rare........*snort! (she said, in a
Mothermark sort of way.......)

When my son was little, he could never see ho
w people thought that newborn babies were cute. He always thought they looked just like little aliens~!--thus this card!

Naturally, I won't be sending it to anyone, but I thought it was kind of funny -in my silly humour kind of way!!

The alien is from Kim Hughes set
Little Guys, the sentiment words "welcome" and "baby" are from the set "Baby Love"

I coloured the alien with my copics and then highlighted some areas with my white gel pen which I freakin' love lately!!....... sometimes I get carried away.........

I sewed on a couple of scraps of ribbon, oh my...... that delicious ribbon that comes from The Paper Pickle and their gimounigiousness VATS of ribbon they keep at the counter!

It's really not fair - while they are ringing up your purchases, you stand and stare at all that lusciousness, which gets you thinking of all the ways you could use 25 yards of ribbon and, of course............I cave. I LOVE it!

The paper is from DCWV Glitter paper pack. I am trying to use up my left over paper, but that might last a day or two!

Have a good day - it is raining and snowing and sleeting here today and poor hubby is trying to hunt for deer in all this yucky weather - THAT's too bad........ hahaha!
