Okay on to my creation!
I LOVE the new set called Rescue Remedies - I had created a tag with this set but then the wheels started turning, as occasionally they do, and I started thinking Home Decor - love decorating but can seldom afford what I would like to do.....
My kitchen is painted brick red and I have chosen to decorate it with black accessories.
Well, I recently came across a frame buried deep in my stash, and the backing was just like the back of a peg board.
I really liked the distressed look, complete with all the discolourations, and so I used it for my creation today.
I took the glass off so you could see it without the glare, but I have it up in my kitchen on my side table with the glass on.
For the first tag, I used the Plaid stamp from the Off Beat Backgrounds set, stamped it with Walnut Distress Ink, and cut it out with the largest Labels 4 Spellbinders die.
Then, using the same ink, I stamped the Rescue Remedies stamp and cut it out with the next in line Labels 4 Spellbinders die.
I popped up the image onto the plaid background, tied a black bow with a button and twine and added it to finish it off!
I then made two more tags, using the Rescue Remedies stamps with the NEW Victorian Fripperie backgrounder and the polka stamp from Off Beat Backgrounds.
Okay now, from here you go on to Anya's blog and see her fabulous creation!! Have fun!
