Beate's Sketch Challenge...

I have never done Beate's sketch challenge, sooooo I though I would give it a try. If you want to give it a go, try it out! ....

My card is pretty bright if nothing else......

I started by stamping one of the stamps from GinaK's Baskets of Happiness on Papertrey Ink white cardstock.

I coloured it with my copics and then went over the flowers and basket with a copic spica glitter pen. I wish you could see how glittery it is in real life!!

I did the eggs with the lightest grey that I have and then outlined the whole image in that grey again, to make it pop!! Sometimes I use a very light blue, but this time I used my grey.

I cut and embossed it with the nestabilities rectangle. Then I stamped the sentiment from the same GinaK stamp set and cut it out and embossed it with the Petite ovals nestabilities.

I used the Cuttlebug tapestry embossing folder to emboss the blue cardstock and then matted it on gold cardstock. Then I tied the ribbon around it and glue the whole thing on the green cardstock.

I added the three gold brads and it was done.

  1. Very pretty! I am diggin' the basket of eggs stamp. I was thinking of buying the set but I have sooo many Easter stamps. I am having a hard time using them all! That's bad, right? Love the bright blue on here!
