Backgrounds and Birthdays!

You must know how much I LOVE to make my own backgrounds, so I had to do up another one after seeing Nichole Heady's sneak peek posts this week.

I took some Papertrey Ink's Lemon Tart cardstock and stamped the Large Polka Dot background from Cornish Heritage Farms. I used Summer Sunrise ink and I think it makes a beautiful twosome, don't you?!

Then I stamped one of the flowers from the Garden of Life set in Colorbox dark brown ink, kind of willy-nilly all over the cardstock.

I topped that off with the complimentary stamp from the set in Stampin' UP! white craft ink.

Then I stamped the leaf in Colorbox Dark Olive ink on each flower and there was my 8 1/2" x 11" cardstock, ready for cutting into cards!

The sentiment is from Birthday Basics and the ribbon is Summer Sunrise from Papertrey Ink!

Off to the Dr. today for my annual liver check up--crossing my fingers!!!

I know I am healthy, but there is still that nagging little voice of doubt that creeps in there LOL!

Sort of like when you are crossing the border. You have nothing to hide, have declared EVERYTHING, but still feel guilty as hell!!

I'll just look like a copycat. *giggle*
