Today's featured stamper was Teneale!! Congrats to you!
I actually kept the basic card but changed quite a few things, the stamp set, the paper and I added a sentiment.
This is my card - I used two different sheets of Basic Grey Lilykate . One sheet as my background and the other as the pop up foreground. The flowers/thistles - the most beautiful thistles I have seen in a long time!!!- are from Cornish Heritage Farms/Kim Hughes Silhouette Blooms II.
I stamped the flowers on Stamping Up Very Vanilla in Tim Holtz Distress inks Tattered Tose and Shabby Shutters and then attached it to the foreground Lily Kate Designer paper with pop ups.
I'm kind of doing this backwards, sorry!! I cut out an oval with my nesties on the foreground paper and sponged some Tim Holtz Antique Linen distress ink around the edges of the oval and the outside.
I tied that yummy scalloped velvet ribbon from Making Memories around it and then I popped up the whole foreground onto the base of the card.
The tag is cut out using the Cuttlebug tag die and the sentiment is from Papertrey Ink Mixed Messages. I used a small piece of May Arts Swiss dot ribbon to tie to the tag.
I love this popped up card!!
Well, my back is no better today, but I found that if I locked myself in my craft room and stamped on one leg and held my breath a lot - it didn't hurt quite so much!
Monday's chiropractor appointment can't come soon enough!! and we are looking after Jake overnight which is going to be FUN!! regardless......I think!!
Beautiful!! You have the best paper!
