Today is Math Class for Holly.....so off to Sarnia I go! She loves her class and her teacher is so awesome!!
I don't know that she is absorbing the math information so much, but her social skills are progressing by leaps and bounds. We are very proud of the progress she is making!!
I may have to treat myself and head off to the LSS for some of that delicious October Afternoon paper I have seen lately - if it is in Canada yet!!
Here is another Gina K Designs card - Get well this time.....
I love doing the watercolour misting with Tombows!
I colour on the stamp with my Tombow markers with pink and green, and then I spray my water mister in the air a couple of times.
Then I wave the coloured up stamp through the mist to get some water droplets on it.
Believe me, if someone came into my stamp room just then, they would have thought I had lost it!!
I usually take a look at the stamp after waving it through the mist, just to make sure that I actually got some mist on the stamp because sometimes I miss the misting - KWIM?......quite funny actually....
If it has a few water droplets on it, good to go. I just stamp it on my Very Vanilla paper and BEAUTY!! I love this look.......so soft and pretty!
I don't know if Chocolate Chip was the best choice for the card base, but it was already cut out with the rectangle nestabilities and laying here, so I thought I would use it up!
The patterned paper was also just laying here - yes, I have a messy desk! - so I don't know who it is from.....
The sentiment is from Little Paper Shop stamp set All Occasions. This set is full of all the sentiments you ever need, in such a beautiful, gentle font! Perfect!
Flowers are Prima Forever Flower hydrangea and I added a couple of Stamping Bella baubles to finish them off.
Look at me go shopping!!
