Vellum! YUCK! I hate working with vellum.......mutter, mutter, mutter
Well, it turned out it wasn't so bad.....just an extra step, in my project at least, and I will most likely use this idea again.
I don't suppose it is a new idea, but new to me!
Of course, my main image and sentiment is from Papertrey Ink's Birds of a Feather!!
I stamped it in Brilliance Black ink onto a piece of vellum that was attached to a piece of Memory Box patterned paper, the exact size. I love this particular piece of designer paper because it has birds on it - so perfect!!
I had already cut to size and scalloped the edges of the vellum with my corner rounder when I decided to use different paper.
Then I had to cut and scallop the designer paper, thank goodness it lined up!!
I cut a slightly larger piece of the Summer Sunrise cardstock and adhered my dp and vellum to that and then glued the whole thing to my Papertrey Ink Stampers Select white cardstock base.
I finished it off by wrapping a BIG piece of Summer Sunrise swiss dot satin ribbon around the whole thing and tying a big bow!
Thanks for looking!!
Beautiful Bonnie! Deb
