FS80 Baby Love

Jessica/Knightrone is the Featured Stamper today and I have always loved her blog and her gallery!

She has such a down to earth creative fashion that I can appreciate but can't duplicate :)

I chose to case this card of Jessica's which was a Dirty Girl challenge during Dirty Girl week and it was the "Embrace your White Space" challenge.

I changed the stamp, the colours, and the embellishments along with a few other things!!




I stamped the pregnant lady from Kim Hughes set Baby Love in Versamagic Azure onto Papertrey Ink white cardstock.

Instead of the flowers in Jessica's card I chose to pop the butterfly from the Baby Love set in her tummy!!

I stamped the sentiment and tied some ribbon around the side of the card - that ribbon has taken on a life of its own!! I think the tails are too long and I see a trim in their future LOL!

I adhered some Doodlebug bling at the bottom of the card and it was done! I bought the bling at the Paper Pickle when I was buying Marcie a bunch of stuff for her birthday. I couldn't just let it go and buy it only for her....... I had to double up and get myself some too and I am glad I did!!

Kind of a fun card if I do say so myself and it came together pretty quickly, quicker than all that corn we just husked, cooked, cut, and bagged!! Ugh - but it will be so delicious with it's crunchy sweet goodness this winter!!! Yummo!
