Today's New Technique Challenge involved making something- not a card!! ACK!!
I don't make things!!
All right, enough drama. Long story short......easy peasy..... and such a cute little gift - in a hurry!!
I just followed the tutorial that Lynn provided and decided to fill my treat box with cough drops!
Everybody needs their spirits lifted when they have the sniffles and how fun would a little care package be when they are sick!!
I used everything scrap today, so I don't know know where it came from- suffice to say it was old yellow cardstock.
The acetate is from Cornish Heritage Farms - I do know that much and boy is it sturdy lol!!
I used a combination of stamp sets today. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink's Honey Bee Sentiments and is stamped in Brilliance Black.
The sweet little bee is from Little Paper Shop's Just Bee-Cause stamp set. He is so dang cute flying around there with his well wishes!! I just stamped him with Brilliance Black ink and coloured him with copics - not much to that, just a little bit of yellow and then glistened his wings with Frosted Lace Stickles!
I cut out the image with my plain tall nestabilities and the background with the scalloped tall nestabilities and it was ready to glue dot on to the treat box!!
Run on over to Splitcoast Stampers and try out this new tutorial - too cute!!
