Suzy's Friday Free-for-All Challenge at Embellish-It Scrapbooking was called Fall's Flourish!
We had to incorporate some kind of flourish into our creation.
I used the Lockhart fishing vest image and coloured it up with my copics. I had some Fancy Pants Papa collection papers left over from September's gallery opening on Embellish-It Scrapbooking, so I sewed some pieces together and ran it through the Cuttlebug using the Leafy Branch folder.
I lightly sanded it up and backed it onto some Chocolate chip cardstock and then stamped my sentiment on another piece of the Fancy pants dp and popped it on.
I tucked some fall leaf embellishments - another one of those things I have had forever! - behind the image.
If you look closely, you can see a couple of Quickutz flourishes tucked in there as well, as per the challenge!
Why don't you accept the Fall Flourish challenge, create something with a flourish and add it to our gallery! We'd love to have you!
Hubby fishes a lot so he actually appreciated this card today! He likes all the cards I make -his exact words are "I like it" every time I ask him what he thinks!
Good answer.
