I saw this star on Sue Neal's blog and I knew, that once I found some time, and dug out the star I knew I had somewhere, that I could do one too!
Check out the before picture......- ya know - the before looks worse than it really is ....haha!
I finished mine a bit differently than Sue, opting to add my Krylon goldleaf pen at all the intersections and then a big gold and cranberry bow in the middle.
I actually followed the directions for a change and I think it turned out pretty well.
If you decide to alter one, I found that making a template was important and probably a lot quicker in the long run!
I just cut out everything from my Basic Grey Wassail 6 x 6 paper pack and glued it on the star (after sanding the star).
Then I ran my Krylon goldleaf pen around - that is the easiest thing to use. It just glides on fabulously!
Isn't it purty!!
