Today we are starting off with the new WTG - Girl Plays Golf and I couldn't be more excited! I am that girl!!! I LOVE golf - Hubby and I bought a membership this year to our local golf club so I feel so posh lol! (yeh, that's me)
I started off by stamping the image onto a piece of X-Press it cardstock. I coloured her back arm (her right arm) and the golf clubs (and yes, I have a big pink golf club, my driver. I call her Ol' Pinky) with my copic markers. I also shaded around the image at this point.
I stamped the image again onto a piece of designer paper from the Bo Bunny Alora 6x6 paper pad. I cut out her shirt, pants and the bottom of the golf bag, and paper pieced them onto the first image.
Again I stamped the image onto a piece of X-Press it cardstock, coloured her left arm and the club heads, cut them out and adhered them to the image. I popped up the golf clubs a big for dimension.
You can see that I added some bling onto the golf glove - that is a marker that all golf gloves have. You can take that off to mark where your ball is on the green - see, isn't this fun -- you are also learning golf as we go - can't help it - I love my golf!!
See the cute little scalloped edge? That is the new Mini Scallop Edge Die-namics!! I think it is so sweet!
Inside my card is one of the great sentiments included with the Who's That Girl - Girl Plays Golf (me) and I used the Mini Scalloped Edge Die-namic on the inside as well.
My second card ( I know - don't keel over...) uses another new image available on May 1st by Claire Keays. Her drawings are so adorable and this one is no exception. It is called You A-mews Me - how cute!
I stamped the image onto X-Press It cardstock, and coloured it with my copic markers, choosing to make the image into a little orange tabby! We used to have an orange Tabby called George (kind of a stinky thing.....) but oh so fun - boy did we used to terrorized that poor kitty.....lol! (going waaaay back here)
I die cut the image with the new Rectangle STAX Die-namics and sewed on my little die-cut sentiment.
If you look carefully under the image, you can see a little peek of another new Die-namics being released . This is called the Squiggle Border Die-namics! I love that word squiggle! squiggle. squiggle.
I used the little fish charm from the Pet Charm Die-namics and I kept the little fish bones and used them to scatter around the kitty. He looks like he has had a purr-fect day!
The photo corners were stacked up - because I like doing that!
