Hey there Blog Hop fans! Time for another Papertrey Ink Blog Hop. This month we are basing our creations on some non-traditional holiday colours with inspiration provided by Nicole.
I decided to use the gorgeous blues that were provided and inked up some Christmas-y stamps. I just have tao say that the Blueberry Sky ink showed up soooo bright and does not look like that in real life.... crazy! The last photo shows the true colours......
I LOVE the new Bookmark Dies, so I definitely wante to incorporate them into my creation.
I stamped one of the sentiments from Season's Greetings in Hawaiian Shores ink and the sunrise image from Nativity Silhouettes in Smokey Shadow, right onto my diecut Basic Bookmark #3.
I tied a piece of satin Blueberry Sky ribbon to the book mark and then tucked it back in behind some Soft Stone and Hawaiian Shores patterned paper hills, leaving a bit of the sunrise image peeking out. I added a we bit of Stickles to the top of the hills
I diecut and stamped the two different sizes of churches from the Holiday Home Stamp Set in Blueberry Sky and popped them up at the front - It really reminds me of The Sound of Music haha!
The various stars were stamped in Hawaiian Shores, New Leaf, Blueberry Sky and Smokey Shadow, and I added a few little gems to some of the stars.
So many layers on this one but I really love the non-traditional colours - happy hopping!!
