And that SHINE! The Inkspirational Challenge word this week is shine - so I am right on the money!
I decided to try to do some sponging with my distress inks and made my card base. I taped my cardstock to my table with removable adhesive just along the edges so that I could show a white border.
After sponging on my base colours, I removed the tape and voila!! A pretty little border!
I then stamped the Globe "holder" from Avery Elle's Joy To The World stamp set, the little wreath and the sentiment.
The wreath has some little berries that I stamped in black and then went over with my silver Zig pen - lots of shiny-ness!
The actual Globe was stamped with Versamark and then embossed with silver embossing powder. I diecut the circle and then popped it up onto the card.
A few little sequins from Pretty Posh and my Simon Says Card Kit made it come to life - and I am in LOVE with that ribbon - so pretty!
Love the beautifully sponged colors for the background! Perfect for a Christmas card. Thanks for joining us this week at Color Throwdown!
