Watercolour by a Beginner….

I'm still trying out this watercolour technique….and even though it is not the best results….I find it so relaxing to dally about with these inks!

This time I inked up a WPlus9 stamp set called A New Day - a sweet little bird stamp.  The sentiment is from Reverse Confetti's set God is Good - the perfect sentiment set.

I began by stamping the image with Versafine Black and then began to watercolour using Zig Watercolour markets……I did get a little too much water around the face….but the rest turned out fine.

I cut off a side panel and layered the rest onto patterned paper from Heidi Swapp.
