This month at Butterfly Reflections Ink there is a mood board - well I guess it is every month but this is the first time I have joined in with the pretty fun!
Here is the board and my take on the challenge…
In retrospect, I should have added a butterfly or two, but I fell in love with the colours!
I used Papertrey Ink Vintage Linens stamp set and white embossed them onto Tim Holtz water-colour paper.
I coloured the flowers with my Zig real brush markers, in various shades of blues as per the mood board.
I added a few pretty baubles and a die cut hello and I was good to go!
Now I am off golfing - thanks for coming around!!
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL Bonnie!
ReplyDeleteI love how pretty this is! Great use of the mood board inspiration. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is such a gorgeous card Bonnie! I love the white embossing and the Zigs bring such a vibrant blue to your card.
ReplyDeleteLOVELY!!!
ReplyDeleteBonnie, I have a question about what brand of white embossing powder and water color paper you used. When I try to emboss on water color paper, it comes out uneven - I think something to do with the texture of the paper.
ReplyDeleteI use Ranger (Tim Holtz) watercolour card stock and my embossing powder is very fine white Filigree powder. Here is the link https://www.papertreyink.com/embossing/1-oz.-white-filigree-detail-embossing-powder/. Hope that helps!!
