The Challenge - Hello there, Birthday Girl
I am pretty excited because today I am a guest designer for The Challenge and this week we are using a very cool sketch!
I must say - I was kind of pumped when I saw the sketch - I was able to use my new Papertrey Ink Bold Blossom Watercolor Sheets!
These are so easy to use - the design is already printed so all you need to do is paint to your heart's content yay! There are also Bold Blossoms Colouring Sheets available in the same patterns - so you can use your markers - just perfect.
I simply brushed water over each flower and then used a Zig Real Brush Marker in a shade that was pretty darn pleasing - in my opinion :) I also placed some glossy accents, in dots, on the flowers to mimic the rain - I think I could have added more …it looks rather sparse now that I look at it.
The sentiment is also from Papertrey Ink - Scripted Stamp Set - I die-cut "Hello there" and then stamped the matching sentiment.
Stamping, die-cutting and watercoloring - What could be better!!?
Won't you join us at The Challenge?
