Good afternoon! I just got back from antique shopping - lots of fun in Florida! I also wanted to get my card in for this week's Color Throwdown - a gorgeous mixture of golds and silvers - very inspirational!
I also want to submit my creation to the "Just Us Girls" Challenge - It is WORD week and the word this week is "Sparkle"!! I think this works just right!
ETA: Apparently, this also goes along with the Inspirational Challenge this week - "Anything Goes with Gold…..triple duty …whoop! whoop!.
I used a mixture of different companies for my creation today so my post is one BIG advertisement Lol!
I started by embossing the Ink Splats from WPlus9 in gold embossing powder onto my card base.
I die cut the L'il Inkers Instant Camera Die from a gorgeous Papertrey Ink Linen Vellum and adhered it to the card base.
I added some Reverse Confetti Let it Snow Confetti Cuts and covered them with Metallic Gold and Silver Pretty Posh sequins.
I die cut the Wet Paint Holiday Dies from brown card stock and swiped them across my Versamark ink. Using my tweezers, I dipped the words into gold embossing powder and then heat them up like magic with my embossing too--- such a pretty effect!
I finished by adding some Lawn Fawn twine - like I said - a blog commercial haha!
