Happy Holidays Christmas!

I love plaid paper! I finally figured out how to use it! This plaid paper is from Chatterbox Inc. and I got it from Scrapping Great Deals - one of the store I deal with in person and on-line!

This card uses a basic layout (which I may be using a lot of in the next couple of weeks since we have another bazaar on the 5th-actually 12 days -YIKES!) and you can whip these up so easy!

I ticket punched all the corners in this one just for a change. I love my Stamping Up ticket punch! Everything is layered and sponged with ink - those little sponge daubers are the cat's ass! (can you say that on blogger?)

Papertrey Ink Holiday Wishes is the sentiment - that is a fantastic stamp set, so darn elegant, and if you don't care to be coloring images all the time it is great! And some people don't care for images on their cards so I am trying to please everyone!! (nervous breakdown - here I come!)

I stamped the sentiment in Versafine Olympia Green and then embossed it with clear embossing - it provides such a great punch...

Added a couple of ribbons and a couple (sadly - not 3) of brads and -as Rachael Rae would say - good to go! I didn't use 3 brads because I really didn't think the card would balance being as I only had two ribbons-which I got from Studio Ribbons. Anyway, it works for me!!

On to make the next card. I am going to try to make three cards with the same sheets of 12 x 12 paper. I know it is possible-I just don't know if I can do it! I LOVE cutting and pasting paper!!

LUCKY ME!!

  1. Hi Lucky!
I love this card! The plaid is great and I love the layout. The Ticket Punch is on my Xmas List, and now I'm even more excited about (hopefully) getting it.
    BTW- Welcome to the Sisterhood!
