Birthday Surprise Sneak Peak!

I am so delighted to be able to show you my first Sneak Peak from Little Paper Shop!!

This set is called Birthday Surprise and it is the cutest birthday stamp set for children!!

It works for both boys and girls and the sentiments fit in so nicely with the stamp set!

I grabbed a piece of Papertrey Ink's Stampers Select White cardstock and stamped the image with Brilliance Black Ink - one of the best inks, IMO, if you want to colour with copics. It doesn't smear or streak - just fabulous!

I paper pieced the little girl and her present with Basic Grey's Cupcake paper - As soon as I saw this paper at the Paper Pickle, I had to have it and I knew I was going to use this paper right from the get go for this card. I ended up using Cupcake for the whole thing!!

I coloured the rest of the image with copics and layered it on some of the plain Cupcake paper.

I layered more Cupcake paper on the base of my card, which is Papertrey Ink's white cardstock, added some ribbon and then added the coloured image with layers.

The sentiment was stamped with more Brilliance Black, lightly sponged with Versamagic red and then layered on - you got it! - more Cupcake paper!!

I popped up the sentiment, added some buttons, and it was ready to pop in the mail!

I'll be posting sneak peaks all weekend for the release on the 24th!!

Don't forget to hop on over to our other talented design members Julia, Allison, Renee, Chelsey, Elyssa, Laura, Silke, Sarah and Kelly's to check out their sneak peaks!!
