Grandparents Mantra and WSC51

Beate's sketch challenge was a great one this week - well every week ! - but some sketches just seem to fall into your lap, and this one was just like that for me!

I wanted to use my Little Paper Shop Grandparent's stamp set, but I didn't want to scrap a whole page, and then I saw one of the sentiments from this set on a card and I thought - well, of course!!

I used Stamper's Select White for the card base and for the sentiment.

I added a strip of SU! chocolate chip cardstock that had been run through the Cuttlebug in the stylized flower folder.

I used the corner rounder to make scallops on the Papertrey Ink Aquamist cardstock and then the crop-a-dile to make the holes.

The ribbon is just some ribbon that I had in stock, AFTER we organized my room - in fact we found a lot of things after I organized my room. Funny.

When I say "in stock", it sounds like I own a scrapbook store and although hubby would argue the fact, I do not have enough supplies to open a store....

The sentiment is from Little Paper Shop and is such a perfect saying don't you think??!! and oh so true - because we have him!! He's perfect!

AND I am going to be a grandma again!! YAY!! Marcie and Jared are expecting again and we couldn't be happier!!!

okay.....sorry.....where was I?

I stamped the sentiment with Colorbox dark brown fluid ink - a lovely dark, wet ink that I am in love with!! Uh huh...!

The tag is from Spellbinders and is Tag 5 and the beautiful GIANT flowers are from Prima!!

Well, I am marinating some lamb chops and in the process of making a pasta salad. Hubby has gone to get some asparagus (bar-b-que style), so it is going to be a cool supper tonight. It is HOT here - and I am absolutely luvin' it!!!

Woo-hoo!!!
